Crossbreeding: how experiments actually work

Bioengineering is Honeycomb's progression engine: you collect specimens, combine them in the lab, and grow the results. Below — only what official material confirms. No invented recipes, success rates or yield numbers live on this page.

Experiments can fail — failure is a designed outcome, not a bug. Any site listing exact recipes before launch is guessing. 2024 Next Fest videos read Grow Pod / Bee Pipe / same-family plants in the journal; no recorded hybrid was finished. That journal text is historical until we re-check the 2026 demo.
